    Maybe this kind of crap will finally convince him to stop. Of course, he is also a college-educated computer professional who makes north of $100k/year, so the GOP probably thinks he doesn't exist.

        He's also a registered Independent, and does not vote any strict party lines. The Republicans in Mass, especially at the local level, aren't as horrible as your typical national Republican. As for why he's voted for various candidates - well, Scott Brown because he thought the Democrat in the race was running as if it were a given she would win, and with John McCain in 2008, for the bogus "security" issue - "I have to protect my family" that kind of crap. However, he also voted for the gay Democrat for mayor in the last municiple election, so he's not all bad.  

        Let's just say if my sister hadn't married him, we would not be friends.
