    that the courts have plenty of job security with the current wave of weird and wicked GOP passed state legislation.

      is gerrymandered redistricting gets overturned as a result of a court case brought because of the practice of allocating electoral votes by Congressional district. Obviously if a Republican is elected President by the electoral college even though losing the popular vote badly simply because of the practice of allocating electoral votes by gerrymandered congressional districts the Democrats will go to the Supreme Court arguing as in this post. This would force the court to revisit the whole idea of gerrymandering and vote fairness.
