      Usually no: Unless I've been at work I can generally schedule myself around the deluges.

      Besides, it takes a couple of hours for your deluges to reach me.

      It's all good!  Unless I'm seriously broke, cabs are also an expensive option.

      But -- usually I'm going home.  So I don't care if I'm drenched when I get there -- I'm going to change clothes anyway, and maybe crank up the oven for extra heat if it's really cold.
