  •  And a 15yo is almost ALWAYS under severe stress (10+ / 0-)

At that time in your life, you're just feeling your impending adulthood and independence, but also tasting what good -- and bad -- the world has waiting for you when you leave home and high school.  Even a lot of kids who don't have it too bad feel as if they do, just because their emotions are so volatile and intense.

    Rest well, Jadin.

    •  Suicide Rate Among Teens... (3+ / 0-)

35 year ago compared with now. Is it more now than it was when I was in high school? If so, why?

I was bullied and I wasn't one who fought back, I just took it. It wasn't until I became a drunk that I fought back (or started fights). Although I may have harbored the suicidal thought or two, neither I nor my nerdy and equally bullied friends seriously attempted to or succeeded at killing ourselves.

There must be more to it than bullying. The stress for teens must be a lot higher than it was when I was 15 or 16 years old.

This head movie makes my eyes rain.
