    I can hear his voice when I read the quote, if you will. His phrasing transports me back to the the lost years. {{shiver}}

    •  One guard left his gun in the bathroom... (3+ / 0-)

      A school bragged that a retired gun instructor was going to help patrol the school with his gun and had to report the next day he left it in the bathroom. Maybe he retired the first time for a reason.

      Then there is Sheriff Arapaho's (or something like that) posse that has lots of people with guns patroling around looking for any trouble. Problem is the media found many of the posse had been convicted of sex crimes and other crimes too. But hey a gun is a gun is a gun and they don't kill people.

      Or do they... Ask any fireman what they are worried about if they have to go inside a burning house to save people if the fireman knows or finds out there is ammunition and guns in the house. Or toss some bullets into your roaring fireplace and watch the bullets bounce off the walls. (warning some may go thru you to get to the wall or from one wall to the other.)

      Oh and there was the guy at a gun show who wounded his customer when a gun he thought was empty went off. He was aiming at the floor (concrete) and the bullet bounced off the floor and injured the customer. DUH!

      So don't give me that guns don't...... speech any more.

      The speech I want to hear is that ten years after we did the same thing the Aussies did in the late 90's we have not had a mass shooting like they haven't.

      Our money system is not what we have been led to believe. The creation of money has been "privatized," or taken over by private money lenders. Thomas Jefferson called them “bold and bankrupt adventurers just pretending to have money.” webofdebt
