  •  It does not say "she walked". (8+ / 0-)

Most people drive to things "close enough to walk".
The "10 degrees" would make most people think driving might be better than walking .

she fucking walked the mile home.  Video cams have her crossing the free bridge between her job in New Hope, PA and her home in Lambertville, NJ.

You should google for data yourself or follow provided links, but please leave the fantasy imagineering to Disney.

She walked.  It's an established fact.  So if you prefer to reject the diarist's thesis that self-defense against bad people is at issue then join up with the slip and fall into the river suggestion rather, instead of the "no bad man because most people drive" argument.

      •  Its the logical stretch (13+ / 0-)

With so many unknown factors the stretch from "Something happened to someone walking home from the bar one night" to "I should carry a gun around with me everywhere" is hard to maintain.

There is truth on all sides. The question is how much.

Any "fantasy imagineering" that might be , is all yours .

You have an interesting way , perhaps you would like a recap ?

        Person A says something .
Person B jumps all over person A .
        Person C defends person A , explains what Person a saw / read .

And then you come in with your wild misunderstanding and statements ?

        •  Uhhh ... (0+ / 0-)

maybe you missed this part of my fact based response to you're hypothetical imagineering:

You should google for data yourself or follow provided links
I'll say it again.  She fucking walked.  I'm not defending person A ... I'm am addressing person B who doesn't spend the time or effort to acquire accessible factual data to support an implicit rejection of the diarist's thesis on untenable grounds ... and who now shuffles feet to deny the valid criticism.

you have lost the thread , you have misunderstood what is and is not being said and you have jumped to and are sticking with some interesting positions .

It seems now that its been pointed out to you
that you are misunderstanding intentionally .
            If that's the case , I'll say that's just a silly little game .
If on the other hand , if you really don't get whats going on and would like a fuller explanation , just let me know and I will see if I can break it down step by step so that you might just be able to see and understand .

            •  Thank you, but I believe I've followed the thread (0+ / 0-)

              line just fine.

There have been various efforts to create an alternative hypothesis to "she walked" and by extension undermine the possibility that the young woman met with foul play while afoot.  The evidence from readily available links up-thread or one's own separate research on this would otherwise lead sensible people to conclude that the non-walking argument fails -- leaving the essential premise of that counter-argument in tatters and entirely irrespective of the secondary "foul-play" conclusion .

To some the basic facts and logic relied upon in a community discussion matter and instead of owning up when you seem to have gone astray, you would apparently play the silly game of pointing the finger elsewhere.  That is the projection technique ... is it not?

Oh well. Please take the next and last word.  It's all yours.

You headed off course and remain off course .
You have been informed and you refuse to see the truth .

"There's none so blind as those who will not see."

See , here is the problem with your thinking ,

                that the non-walking argument fails
                I never made a " non-walking argument" ,
you only think I did , that's where the failure is .
You lost the thread when you failed to understand .
It was pointed out to you and you steadfastly refused to see .

Keep on going down the wrong path ,  it bothers me not one bit
that you are off course , I tried to help you but you don't / can't take it .
