I have been held up at gunpoint.  At no time did I feel I had an opportunity to reach for a gun even if I had one which I didn't.  I quietly cooperated with the armed robber and even though I lost some personal belongings and money, I lived to tell about it.  When you have a gun pointed at your chest you may want to think differently about reaching for a gun.

and dont need to waste time explaining something to people who feel differrntly.

I have zero intentions of giving up fingers and toes or getting hurt.

I do not have a philosophical or religious value celebrating abject victimization just 'cause..... I just don't.

Perhaps it was the bullying I took as as a child, that I was never assisted with, that I was encouraged to ignore because 'it will go away' and it never ever stopped until I did something about it.

      Best of luck to ya.

I know.... but these are mere comments on a blog, not a dissertation on security procedures.
