    with a black-powder muzzle-loader in a closet. As far as I know, it hadn't been fired in years (and it's been honorably retired to a museum), although I know that at some point between 1930 and 1960, it had been - I was told my grandfather could fire it from the shoulder.

    (Is it time for the pitchforks and torches yet?)
