I'd warrant if someone wrote a diary with the title:  "How About we Kill All the RedStaters," or "How About we Kill All the Republicans," etc. there would be a banning backlash.

Your take on the diary must be different than mine. When I read it, it didn't cross my mind for a moment that the diarist was literally calling for the killing of survivalists.

While I agreed with you after popping it open, I think it was a crappy way to paraphrase the Shakespeare quote, done specifically to get get eyeballs, and a pretty lame attempt at a diary, along with being insulting to a lot of folks who don't even freaking own guns, but don't consider 'survivalist' a 4 letter word.

by Hunter did a much better job at conveying the frustration and fatigue many of us have in even being able to get to discussing solutions to the ongoing shootings.

It seems rather obvious that we could take all the arguments as to why one might need a 30-round clip because of potential tyranny and just flush that entire population from legitimate discussion.

I have followed the diarist in question and communicated with her on a personal note.  I do not know her well but I  certainly would not consider her to be someone who would advocate mass murder.  And apparently a couple other people share that view.  No, she is not Shakespeare.  Her title was a fail and was appropriately HRed, and after unsuccessfully trying to explain it in the comments, she deleted the diary. And that's what should have happened.   At least according to me.  I'll leave any other measures to Admin.
