  •  He's been in office, what, (11+ / 0-)

a few weeks? Already he's intolerable.

I never thought I'd miss Kay Bailey Hutchison. I didn't pay much attention to Cruz the Texas Teabagger's earlier career and run for the Senate, and now I am wondering, who is pushing this guy's buttons? Who is he working for? Surely he didn't dream up this whole persona by himself.

    •  Psst... the Tea Party likes their representatives (4+ / 0-)

      swinging their dicks; so impressive.

      •  The George Allen/Dick Armey School (0+ / 0-)

of big swinging dicks.  Did you know that Allen wears cowboy boots?  Even with a suit?! And he shines his boots with the Washington Post?  Oo, he's so dreamy -- for a hasbeen putz two-time loser.

A 47% return on investment--that's pretty doggoned good!

      Leap Year, never forget 2000

A Mother Jones article about him last Fall touted his brains, his mentors, and his future. So far he's had precious little opposition, tho' a lot of money has been thrown his way. Time for him to step outside of the Texas Tea Party hothouse to encounter Washington's rough and tumble politics. "The next Barack Obama" had better be prepared for the big time.

No better time than now, IMHO. No better foes than Kossacks.

the winner of national and international debate championships for years in college, editor of the Harvard Law Review, Founder and Editor of the Hispanic Law Review.  Before he ran for Senate he was Solicitor General for Texas.  You can see from the tape he's had extensive prosecutorial experience.  He's going to be a formidable political opponent.
