  •  It was 40 this morning. (3+ / 0-)

Due to hit about 71 this afternoon.

    So you have questions, huh?
What was your least favorite subject in school? Phys Ed
Do you still hate it? The only time I run is from danger and to the bathroom.
Do you have any phobias?  If you look up "arachnophobia" in the dictionary, you'll find my picture.  I can't even look at a picture of a spider or a centipede.
What are you allergic to? Wool, various varieties of pollen, insect stings/bites, and I'm dermagraphic.  I also have an adverse reaction to Claritin D (projective vomiting), any medication whose name ends in -pril (anaphylaxis) the flu vaccine (Five-alarm migraine), and Alka Seltzer Plus Cold medicine (migraine)
Are there any public figures that you might as well be allergic to? Pretty much every Republican
What present day fashion can you NOT get on board with?  Hooker-wear for kids

You can't keep a mighty tree alive (much less expect it to thrive) by only spritzing the fine leaves at its tippy-top. The fate of the whole tree depends on nurturing the grassroots. - Jim Hightower

I persist in not regarding Phys Ed as an actual "subject". It was required in New Jersey for every student, including college, but at the end of high school I burned my gym suit and did not apply to any college in New Jersey, or elsewhere where Phys Ed was compulsory.

It's kind of sad, because I might have found some sport or activity I enjoyed if I had come to it in college, and maybe I'd be shaped differently now, but the whole junior-high and high school gym experience... Well, let's just say that my phobia is entering places that have a locker room.

      •  A lot of schools now (3+ / 0-)

have exercise machines, so kids can do the solitary workout. I would have loved that. I hated team anything. And I hated the mandatory blue shorts/white shirt my school required. I became quite adept at cutting class.
