    The problem with that is that a print-at-home ballot is not a secret ballot.  What's to stop a controlling spouse from filling it out for their less assertive partner?  Or a controlling employer from stating he wants to see it before you cast it?  

    Sure, that's illegal, but it doesn't mean that it won't be done.  Sure, you can circumvent it by printing multiple copies and filing the one you really meant, or by voting for real in person, but will people go to that extra effort?
