I reject the notion that Taibbi should "move on" to other subjects. Kudos to Taibbi for keeping his focus on financial malfeasance when just about everyone else has turned their attention to more ostensibly "sexy" topics.

The fact of the matter is that the great crisis of our time is economic inequality, and the financial sector has been the key beneficiary of this rampant and expanding polarization of wealth. The fact that the media has failed to continue devoting attention to this problem -- and to the financial sector's complicity -- is more an indictment of the Beltway's insular obliviousness to the problems facing ordinary Americans than it is an indictment of Taibbi's "one-note" theme.

    •  Year After Year... (8+ / 0-)

Saying the same thing, investigating the same thing, pointing out the details, the chains on influence in the crimes.  Does he have a bias?  Who doesn't?    Is he a liar?  Hardly.

But then again, year after year, ignoring him and everyone else rubbing the same facts under the noses from the president down to a janitor.  Turning a blind eye to the entire mess and it's perpetrators.

Rolling Stone get's a newstand purchase ever time he writes an article.  Hope him and others don't stop and never give this laissez faire financial industry attitude a rest.

Occupy needs to continue its work keeping the spotlight on Wall Street and its politician-enablers in D.C.
