students and their minds were still capable of being opened.  Some students were a little anxious at first to have their fundamentalist beliefs challenged.  I think most were grateful.  I showed the movie "Contact" at the end of one school year and a girl who'd seemed the most nervous about being lead down the path of heresy asked me, "What makes people become narrow minded?"It wasn't a bad experience at all for me.

The homunculus belief was an eye-opener, however, because I realized that it was no wonder they opposed abortion if that's what they believed.

Pentecostalists, even more than Calvinist type fundamentalists I think, live in a fantastical world filled with magic and demons and other supernatural beings, where ordinary laws of physics are as unreal to them as their beliefs are to us.  It's no wonder we can't see eye-to-eye.

Light is seen through a small hole.
