  •  Two problems. (9+ / 0-)

First,  Israeli governments already have shown they cannot manage an equality state as betweens Palestinian citizens of Israel and Jewish citizens of Israel, so why should anyone think that adding more Palestinians is going to make for a different result? Heck, the Israeli governments are having a hard enough time managing the various groups from different lands, Ashkenazim and various others, who are all treated as Israeli Jews, but some subgroups favored more than others. Mizrahi Jews for example are not treated equally with Ashkenazi Jews, in Israel.

Second. Once Judea and Samaria are taken by Israel, what is to keep it from claiming under biblical precedent as before, the lands supposedly occupied by several of the Tribes of Israel which were east of the Jordan, and doing something they haven't explained yet about the several million non Jewish people, many of them forced out of Israel and WB by the Israeli armies, who would under such a theory also have to be forced out of the lands of the additional tribes, when the problem is that only a strip of land borderig the Jordan River is habitable and has water, and the rest, alll the way to Saudi Arabia or Iraq is desert.
