    Iraq War. I was not particularly politically conscious in any mainstream sense, nor was I much of a voter or any of that. I read, of course, and at that time, I must have read the newspapers. I was opposed to the Iraq War from the moment that there was murmurs of Weapons of Mass Destruction. It was a farcical notion outright. I think it would be very hard to justify not being aware of this based wholly on not being tuned into news media.

    I remember taking part in very, very early protests.

    Greenwald is a problematic figure at times. He makes some really strange assertions about what "Progressives" are, particularly for someone who is kind of off-base half-the-time.

    Yet another pundit who makes me cringe: it just wasn't that complicated, Glenn.
