  •  Correct. Ibsen's test was for mitochondrial DNA, (1+ / 0-)

    specific to the maternal line.

So they were looking for confirmation from both sides for Richard, but they'd need the direct male line for confirmation of the twins.

they were seperated by around 3 years.

presumably they could get dna from the princes father, and from the bones, and add to what they've undoubtedly already taken from R3.

and that would be it, no?

or actually, they could get mtdna from HenryVIII and mtdna from the bones, and prove it that way, as the princes' sister was HVIII's mother.

i wish queenie would budge on this.

HAPPY SECOND TERM EVERYBODY !!! WHAT'S YOUR PLAN FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS? THE NEXT FOUR YEARS OF WORK ARE WHAT THE LAST SIX YEARS OF WORK WERE ALL ABOUT! (-9.75 / -9.05)

      •  mtDNA is much easier to get a clean sample of. (1+ / 0-)

I very much doubt there will be movement regarding permissions, too much potential embarrassment in confirming bloodlines. ;-)

It would be very nice to clear up what happened to the princes. ::sigh::
