    The Fountainhead in high school, but even at that time, it was clear to me that Rand was knocking down straw men.  I did not like the book, and after finishing it, knew that any time devoted to reading Atlas Shrugged was wasted time.

      I didn't think of things like that then about books. It might have been in school I read her. But politics didn't cross my mind. I liked the story in the book and some of the photography and cast in the movie.
      I never got around to Atlas. I never got around to Charlotte's Web.
      A good story I liked would get my attention. I wouldn't have heard any of the discussion if there was one. I always was listening to the music in my head.
       I didn't get active until I was 13-14 yrs old. Then civil rights and viet nam got my attention. and, as it happened from then on, rarely school.
