  •  Is it too logical (12+ / 0-)

to accept that not only does psychosis exist, but that it is actively cultivated by the society we live in?

"Evil" is a cheap excuse. The late Mr. Kidnapper was the manufactured product of a society that has long since reduced human beings to object status.

    •  Can't blame everything on society. Some people (0+ / 0-)

just like to hurt or kill things or people. Or, I should say, are incapable of stopping themselves. Where others will become depressed by bad situations (or perceived bad situations), some very few others will strike out and kill, torture, or just torment. And of those few, some will take down-right pleasure in it.

In fact, killing has always been an accepted human act up until recent social conditioning. Modern humans have "manufactured" this society that now almost universally condemns killing outside sanctioned government decree.

Just look at what Romans used to do for fun.

Humans are just animals with the capacity to try and convince themselves otherwise. And yet, some are born without said capacity. Why should that not be accepted as just another aspect of the complex human condition?

That being said, we've come a long way baby but still have eons to travel.

Physics is bulls**t. Don't let them fool you. Fire IS magic.
