          and they just played "Surrey with the Fringe on Top" from Oklahoma! as -- wait for it -- a JAZZ number.

          That's the kind of thing I mean.  It's...weird...kind of defies expectations and yet -- somehow jazz musicians have co-opted the Great American Book of Songs for their very own.
