    i thought he sported a Mohawk when he was in the Army.  Do they allow people to be Republicans with that kind of hair?

      when Republicans were a much different breed.

      I was pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-separation of church and state, etc. I was against gays in the military, but then I served in the military. With gays.

      I changed not because it was political expedient for me to do so. I was never a politician. I changed because both I AND the GOP changed.

      Change is good! But it has to be genuine and for the right reasons.
