      as his predecessor. I'll be surprised if the Lord Archbishop has anything positive to say, but I'd be pleasantly surprised. He has no right to tell US Episcopalians what to do but we do, in fact, look to Cantuar with all the seriousness one can expect from a church with a sort of anti-pope.

        When he was appointed archbishop in November, Welby, 57, a former oil company executive, made it clear that he endorsed earlier church statements criticizing government plans to legalize same-sex marriage.
