when he came into office was ended the Adult Basic health insurance program for the working poor, urging them to move into other plans that cost 3 times as much.  In the meantime, my daughter had been on the Adult Basic waiting list for 3 years.  Thanks to the ACA, we were able to put her back on our insurance but she'll be 26 this year.  I've been looking forward to 2014 for what seems like an awful long time now so that she could get insurance with the help of this Medicaid expansion, but I guess I'll just go ahead and give up.  Fuck it.  If she gets sick, she can walk away from the bill with my blessing, contrary to what I've always believed and taught her.  But in the meantime, she'll keep working and paying taxes along with everyone else that Corbett is screwing.

I truly mean that.  But isn't is just insane that that sentiment is our health care policy, in one of the nation's oldest and historically most progressive states?
