    Well, yes, a couple times; bluecollar work to Latino immigrants, and white collar work to my own ethnicity, Irish. In the latter case I know they were undocumented because I knew one of them personally.

    In both cases it was because they would work cheap, and that's the crux of why we have to bring these populations out of the shadows and eliminate their downward pressure on our wages as we eliminate their susceptibility to exploitation.

    Toward that end they have to get something like a green card immediately so they are secure as residents to have the confidence to bargain for better compensation and safer workplace conditions.

    Now that they're here, it's in our best interests to do what's best for them.
