    "There is an old and lugubrious somewhat adage which says 'never speak of rope in the house of a man who has been hanged.'  (--FDR)  Remembering how well impeachment went for the 'pubs the last time they tried it as a political stunt, I'm surprised to hear any of that crowd even using the word.

      I think that worked out damn well for them.  It was a nightmare for the country, but since when did they ever care about that?

        They damned near lost control of the House; Newt had to resign, then Livingston; the cover on Hyde's affair was blown as well.  The Senate practically laughed in their faces and Clinton left office as one of the most popular Presidents ever.
