Codeine affects me in about the same way as a skillet upside the head...

however. When I stopped being able to do the copay for Imitrex, which if you have the make-you-vomit-your-head-hurts-so variety of migraine is quite literally a gift from all the gods working together, I discovered something that's almost as good.

You want two of the orange-coated ibuprofen, two of the red-white-and-blue acetaminophen, two of those little blue oval sodium naproxen pills, and two full-size aspirin, taken with eight ounces of water; you may want to have an Alka-Seltzer or Pepto-Bismol nearby, because no matter what, you must not barf.

Then you want a dark, quiet room and a blanket. Yes. You probably will wake up soaked in sweat. But your head will have stopped hurting.

It's the NSAID-of-DOOM; it'll eventually rot your liver and your kidneys. But it does work.

3 advil, 4 tylenol and a  REALLY good dose of Gravol.
Gravol induced coma works well. Do not throw that up. LOL.
      EVER. The taste.

I used to use the nasal spray Imitrex, it stopped working. Well, it got rid of the pain but exaggerated the other symptoms.

However for my particular current set of problems, no NSaids.

Bastards at the hospital gave me a blood clot from my knee to my pelvis. So daily rat poison.

I bruise like a Georgia peach now.

      Bah. LOL.
