was killed and the autopsy photos were printed in newspapers, to make them unobtainable other than to state attorneys, defense attorneys and family if they so choose to want them.
I asked for all evidence in my kids murder, I have often thought about posting the pics of the 8 entry holes and 2 exit wounds on the gun nut threads on here. Yeah, guns are all fun and games til your child comes home in a fucking box...
The reality is I believe I'd be the only one affected by them, you hear of these shootings so much, so often, to where I think most people have become so accustomed to hearing it all that seeing the reality of it all wouldn't have the effect you'd hope it would. They are immune to it or try to remain that way at least so that they're steeled into pulling that trigger when the time comes.
I'll never forget the story my dad told me about seeing the electric chair up close and personal as a young law student- he became violently ill and literally passed out. He saw it as looking at the epitome of evil but until he saw it with his own eyes the stories and details about it truly meant nothing at all to him. Though we had a differing opinion about the death penalty I learned to respect the opinion he had of it given the introduction to the means of carrying it out that I've never been privy to.
Most gun fans have those things for one of two reasons, to hunt with, or their fears of their fellow man to the extent that they have them to kill with if and when they feel it is warranted. The latter of the two will not be phased by the brutal, sickening reality.
Unless of course it's their kid, their wife, their mother, brother, friend, ect.

Be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
