The school was Indiana University Southeast, one of the Indiana University regional campuses. Seems they had been doing it for 40 years.

As new buildings were added or remodeled, they would dig a large hole in a back wooded area. And I mean a BIG hole - as large or a bit larger than a football field and about 15 to 18 feet deep. In the hole they would throw the junk. For remodeling they tossed wiring, stoves, chairs, couches, etc. We suspect a few computer disappeared in those holes.

They got caught for one hole and had to take everything out. This following days of rain so the hole had about 3 feet of water. The administration got confused and their comments were about another hole - time and date information - that had already been covered up.

I contacted the Indiana departments in charge of waste but they refused to investigate - would not even send a site inspector when photos showed iron bars and fabric sticking out of the ground in another area recently covered over.

Looking over the "wilderness" area you can see large football field areas with different levels of brush and tree growth. Yes, it seems that in some "fields" they cut the trees down to dig their trenches. One worker told me this had been going on 30 years.

Seems someone finally went to the press. I talked with the reporter who told me that when the administration was called about the story they first would give no answers and kept shouting at him, "Who told? Who told?" The Louisville Courier Journal never told them.

I don't know what consciousness is or how it works, but I like it.
