    care of its planes. They all look like new.

    I wondered if the Me-262 reproduction was one of those newly-built flyable ones, but they don't have the "bullets" in the engine exhausts like this one, and the originals, do. The original Jumo 004 engines had a variable exhaust area, implemented by an onion-shaped "bullet" that could be moved fore and aft. The new-build machines use more modern GE J-85 engines that do not need that feature. They have about a ton more thrust (counting both engines) than the original plane, in an engine small enough to fit inside mock-ups of the original Jumo engines so when the outer cowl is opened you have to look carefully to realize you're seeing fake engines.
