of that scene in the Al Gore move Inconvenient Truth ...

Where Al is describing the story of the frogs in a pot of water, that is slowly rising in temperature, towards a slow boil.

Al wanted to scream "Jump Frogs Jump" -- as the frogs remained oblivious to their pending futures.

Slow and Steady, sometimes loses the war -- the war of constitutional common sense.

thanks 88kathy for the "public vs private" observations.

thoughts.  We have some work to do to figure this out.  Drones could make things better in some ways.  Being a woman I have been under curfew all my life.  Maybe drones would make the night safe for women.  That would be nice.

guns are fun v. hey buddy, watch what you are doing -- which side are you on?

        their helpful innocuous uses.

        I'm worried about their misuses.

I'm worried about what they will ultimately become.

How long before they are armed, for instance.

How long before they are peering in our window,
with their sophisticated heat detectors, etc.

        Monitoring our cell calls.

I'm worried about who is flying them,

        and who watches the flyers?
