Some kind kosfolks acted together to save my treasured old photos, my housing for the month, my grandchildren's Christmas and, though they did not know it, pretty much my life. And I will be forever grateful. I'm not out of the hole yet, but without that kindness and generosity I doubt I'd even have sight of a ladder.

I have no idea about anyone else's circumstances or believability, but I think most people on here are adults and likely fully aware that there is the possibility that things may not always be what they seem.  And are willing to take that chance for whatever reason (including the possibility that things may be exactly as they seem.)

I don't know. I consciously pay forward the kindness I received in ways that I can. Not always monetarily, except for a few dollars here and there when I can--but in lending a helping hand, not being judgmental and in hoping that some action I've taken will, at the least, give someone that same encouraging, renewed belief in a connected humanity that was one of the most precious of the gifts I received.

i agree with everything you said about pretty much saving OUR lives!

if folks really knew how much good they did for so many of us, i think they would be astonished!  it is so much more than the physical things - it is about caring.

when i was to the point i thought no one really cared - kossacks were there - and will be a part of my heart and soul for the rest of my life.  i am still amazed and in wonder by their responses to me and to so many others.

why anyone would resent this, i truly don't understand!

EdriesShop Is it kind? is it true? is it necessary?
