This story has been rolling around my head and heart. I lived in LA for 10 years as an adult and I was raised in the suburbs there as a child.. As an young adult of 29 I returned to LA and lived in Hollywood. The LAPD was in the 80's so abusiv and brutal, so racist that we left. I was thrown in jail for three days as I did not testify against a black unarmed petty thief as I did not get the subeona the cops say they mailed me. I learned the hard way to fear the police in LA.

I saw many black people and white beaten on the street in full daylight on Hollywood blvd. where I worked and had to walk home from work. People would cross the street to avoid the cops regardless of what they where doing to fellow humans. It was an police state then and I imagine as we as a country have gotten worse along these lines that is it worse today.

I do not condone what this man has done or his manifesto. However one thing he said stuck in my head. 'You trained me'. We are 'training' people to kill to kill effectively and cheaply both here and globally. Violence and killing is accepted as the answer to everything from personal 'protection' to global 'terrorists'. We as a nation have produced the monsters that we so fear both here and globally. In a police state like ours your bound to get people like this who cannot see where the good guys begin and the enemy ends. Especially when we target via our military civilians who we say mean us harm.

Expect more of this as violence begets... and human souls get wasted when killing is considered a solution to fear and loathing....Ask me our souls have been laid to waste and this is a perfect example.

Just as every cop is a criminal
    And all the sinners saints
    As heads is tails
    Just call me Lucifer
Cause I'm in need of some restraint
    So if you meet me
    Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
    Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste,
