    ...where I'm at.  And I'll have a nicer debate with you when I get power back and can heat my house above 40 degrees.

    My personal history says this is the biggest I've seen since 1978.

      How many storms did the ne get this winter? And how many did they USED  to get?

      It's the difference between many smaller storms, with lower temps for the entire winter, and one big storm that lasts a week.

      Temps used to be colder overall, with more frequent storms that dropped lesser amounts of snow. The ground froze, and stayed frozen for weeks. Snow fell, but remained, so the total on the ground was likely as much, if not more, over the course of the winter.

      It's not like that any more.
