    And I WAS that "600 pound man" but it took until I could barely walk a block to realize I had to fix myself.

      for you.  Congratulations.  However, not everyone who has/had the same problem as you has it for the same reason as you.  

      That is the real problem here.  The weight issue is being treated as, pardon the expression, "one size fits all."  And that simply is not always the reality.  More often than people realize, there are individuals with underlying health issues/psychological issues that require treatment before  simple diet/exercise will have any effect.  Further, we do not all come in the same shape.  There are natural variations and diversity.

        is different.  I'm seeing a doctor.  My plan is designed for ME.

        There are common threads to good nutritional balance, but  they must also be matched to your metabolism.
