I'm highly skeptical that anything will change in the archaic medieval heirarchy of the Catholic Church. It's not like the job description is going to change: whoever the replacement is going to be will be peddling the same Iron Age fairy tales and superstitions to gullible people across the globe. Ratzi has appointed a majority of the cardinals in charge of electing a new pope, so it's highly likely that the replacement will harbor the same ancient, regressive views as the incumbent, and will continue to keep third-world Catholics in poverty by forcing them via threats of eternal damnation to shun family planning and tithe 10% of their much-needed income to the church.

Anyways, good riddance to Ratzi. Maybe now that he's no longer a head of state a country with enough courage can arrest him for obstructing justice and hindering police investigation of systemized child rape in the Church.
