    1. I didn't mention vehicles, wtf?

    2. You asked if I thought that registration would lead to confiscation, I told you that at this time I didn't think so. But, the tool to confiscate is registration.

    3. The solution proposed is a background check, I support it as I said so what is your problem again.

    4. Gun control won't happen if what you want is total control of guns. That's all I can say.

My arguments are not in conflict buy your arguments are all over the place.

    •  I'm using vehicle registration as an example. (2+ / 0-)

      Anyway, I liked this...

"... at this time, I don't think so."

      Well, when?

The next year or two? The next decade? Twenty years from now?

And what does "total control of guns" mean?

I have to say, this has been enlightening. The paranoia rampant in a number of thoughtful folks here is surprising.

I have no idea whether we will get to that place or all live in a Mad Max world. Shit Bob! We could all be zombies next week. The point is to keep it from happening (it being the real subject at hand not zombies).

I have no idea what others want by way of gun control, I've read comments here that run from "leave me alone" to "ban them all and anyone who talks about them!" People wanted to ban RKBA in total because of what we think.

Anything that is made illegal will still be in traffic. There are good things we can do, but we have to be smart about doing them. I don't want to see laws that further ensnare young people into the criminal system as much as I don't want to see anyone further hurt, maimed or killed.
