    he said they would need some kind of super majority to get the fillibuster issue opened up again and that they "couldn't even get 50 votes" and that they "didn't even have all of the democrats" to vote on the fillibuster reform last month when a much smaller majority was needed to make the change happen.  aid said the chances of getting it reopened now are next to nil. i think we need some other ideas, like putting pressure on the hostage takers legislative offices...
