Noticeable smaller changes for about twenty years with all sorts of anomalies, with increasing extremes and changes in flora and fauna as the warming progressed up to the last two years in particular, as you note.

Down here in the Southern Plains we've experienced greater temperature increases and drought than during the Dust Bowl era, and in my very immediate vicinity extremely greater than then.

Most who aren't gardeners or directly dependent on the land don't notice so much but can't deny the warming and its seriousness.  Still, too many don't believe in the permanence of the change or aren't able to envision the long term effects.

They aren't going to listen to a neighbor as to its catastrophic direction nor do most have more than bits and pieces of the science.

More people could be moved if we could persuade enough figures with national stature to present the evidence and the news media to cover the truth with a coherent narrative.

    Appreciate your moving diary.

More: Some men think the Earth is round, others think it flat; it is a matter capable of question. But if it is flat, will the King's command make it round? And if it is round, will the King's command flatten it?
