that even Karl Rove may come to the realization some day that he needs to spend some of that money on someone who knows how to...effectively manage money.  And when he does come to that realization...the full power of unlimited amounts of secret corporate money may only then become more apparent.

Citizens United has changed politics in America in dramatic ways. Money is THE most important thing in politics since Citizens United, even more so than ever before.

When Republicans get around to finding out how to more effectively use that money...we progressives will have a very, very, very difficult time electing fellow progressives.

We still need to fight against Citizens United on multiple fronts until it is overturned or repealed. It is THE single biggest obstacle to good government, now and going forward.

    •  yup. although some of the money is too (4+ / 0-)

stupid to legislate, campaign successfully, get much farther than a primary, or get elected at all. Like fiorina, whitman, mcmahon, romney twice, rudyani, chump, , , , .

      Rove is now a huckster.

      Lovely diary headline!

clime parches on. terms: ocean rise, weather re-patterning, storm pathology, drout-famine, acceptance of nature.

thesis regarding the Republicans being opposed to evidence. The party is rotten; a large part of it is just a scam run by grifters.

Getting rid of their grifters will be a slow painful process.

Economics is a social *science*. Can we base future economic decisions on math?
