Seriously. I live in Texas. I was born in Texas. Some of us even are liberals.

Hell, we're less than 10% from becoming a Blue state.

We need support here in Texas - to help smack down some of these air-headed politicians. Think about the possibilities of a Blue Texas...

But, yes, Stockman is nuts. So is Ron Paul (who was once my congressman - shudder). But they neither define nor are even good examples of a Texan.

For the most part, Texan's are good people. We want what is best. But we have a serious problem of corporate influence in government. Serious serious. We have whack jobs in our Texas government whose core belief is to destroy our government.

    It is horrific.

We're quickly turning into a welfare state - not because we are shiftless and lazy, but because we have Republican leaders who can't seem to reign in their spending on their buddies.

    And still the state suffers.

One only need look at TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) to realize that it is the one-stop-shop for those who wish to wreak environmental damage. It is business friendly and hateful to the public. Oh, sure, they'll hold a hearing, but the outcome is pre decided (cash register sound).

This is the country of LBJ and we all mostly still think that it is wrong for the poor to suffer, for those without voices to not be heard, for the innocent to be harmed. Unfortunately, we have a lot of con-men here (look at Ron Paul - he fooled a LOT of liberals who confused his too-cheap-to-pay-for-a-war for being anti-war).

We need help. Serious help. Don't give up on us. HELP us.

Republicans who fear the US turning into Greece want to implement austerity measures... like Greece.

I've only been to Texas once, but I had a great time there and the scenery was beautiful. I'm with you, we need to fight back against the nutjobs, not vilify the constituents who didn't even vote for them.

Certaines personnes disent qu'il y a une femme à blâmer, Mais je sais que c'est ma faute sacrément.
