    (she had paid for and planned her funeral 6 months before)
    It's a great gift to give those you love and who will need to do all kinds of things when you pass.  It takes a huge load off their plates so they can focus on the things you couldn't have done for them ahead of time.

    My first husband and I had talked about such things, as he had had health issues since he was nine and had a remarkable attitude about life and death.  When his parents, my parents, the priest and I sat around the dining room table to plan his funeral, there was little to actually plan: it all came spilling out like I had presses "play" on a tape recorder in my brain.

    I would hope that everyone would put some thought into it, write it down, put it in a safe place and review it from time to time.  It's one of the nicest things we can do for those who love us.
