    The disinterment and trial (illegal ascension to pope) of the skeleton of Formosus by his successor Steven 6 might be worth a mention. Once found guilty in a fair trial, the cadaver was separated into several sections and tossed into the Tiber.
    So much for apostolic succession, huh?
