  •  Would this be legal? (0+ / 0-)

Use a window van with lcd screens in the windows that are activated when you park. Do it on the passenger side or both sides in a parking lot or event.

(not yelling at you.... just wanting to be clear!)
But stay off the sidewalk with yo damn bike!

      •  I'm not saying that it is (0+ / 0-)

I am just exploring addition measures that can be used. Use both. The lcds could present a more detailed meassage.

          and a great idea.
Ask the local window-tint installer what the rules are about blocking visibility (they differ from place to place) and you may want to make the apparatus movable, so that when it's rolling, the windows are not blocked by the screens, they click into place when you park.
I saw a screen at a Nine Inch Nails concert that lit my imagination: a transparent screen of LEDs that was able to make a video image and still be seen through. The screen came down in front of the stage, you could still see the band through it, then it started snowing! Reznor came out and wiped away the snow in the middle (excellent stagecraft!) et cetera.
That technology applied to the outside of a van could yield some very cool results and while you've got them by the "Oh WOW" you can nail home a message.
Of course this wouldn't be cheap or easy and programming it would be a mentalpretzel, but the final product would be outstanding!

If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!

      •  But it is annoying... (0+ / 0-)

... if it gets directed into your bedroom window at night!
