as I write this, and I think her point is so excellent and not made anywhere else. As everyone here once again goes off on LaPierre, and oh so understandably so, we are proving the point she makes.

Which is that LaPierre is the lead distraction for the gun industry that gives him his power---and I think he's all about his power. He's the beard, the stooge that gets us all riled up about what the second amendment means and what it doesn't mean, while meanwhile...

...the weapons industry goes unscathed.  All the money they pour into lobbying under the guise of the NRA and the right to bear arms. The fact that with every massacre, and every increasingly outrageous statement form LaPierre, they make MORE money as their sheep stock up.  Preppers and survivalists have nothing over those who live in fear of the ultimate armageddon---the government taking away their guns.

It's been a beautiful system for the weapons industry. While many know the names of Wall Street "villains," no one knows who runs the billion dollar weapons industries in this country---and that's just the way they want it.  They've got Wayne LaPierre for that, and it's worked swimmingly.

I'm living in America, and in America you're on your own. America's not a country. It's just a business.
