    Christie is hugely popular in NJ, among Democrats and Republicans.

    Unless a Democratic challenger can make the case that lying about the ARC tunnel to cancel it (and owe it money anyway) while spending money on yet another failed AC casino, he will be NJ governor for the foreseeable future.

    And since that is the standard story - "it's Democrats' to lose" - Democrats will lose.

    Unless maybe Newark mayor Corey Booker saves the day.

    But I'm not that excited about both governors, NY and NJ, being Wall Street opportunists who hate progressives and will, among other things, frack the hell out of the land and water in America's greatest population center.

      since it's completely true, question is if people will care

      ARC tunnel money went to keep gas taxes low so he would probably get votes FOR doing that, but OTOH if property taxes go UP because of this casino debacle, THAT could leave a mark
