    not for the good or service they produce and peddle, but for the opportunity to make somebody else do their bidding. It's a power play and to the extent compensation for labor is fair, the coercive factor is less. And, unfortunately, it seems that the lust for power is addictive. Those who are bitten by the bug are never satisfied -- not even when an economic system that relies on percentages, makes the transfer of money to the top virtually automatic. Accumulation does not satisfy the lust for power. Because power, to be felt, has to hurt. So, people addicted to power have to deprive. Ordering people around ends up not being enough.  Nothing is ever enough for the addict.
