sits around and wallows in this "Obama is evil and horrible and the worst president imagination and he did this on purpose because he is owned by people who want to see us die and we'd be better off with President Rand Paul" crap.

Unfortunately, the blown-out-of-proportion Obama-bashing (not the more focused criticism) makes us useless in the fight to push this toward happening.

    Jon Husted is a dick.

    •  Trust me we do fight for Single Payer (9+ / 0-)

And so do many others.  The next 2 months in California are critical.  And let's go Vermont!

This is me MCing a street theater in Los Angeles in front of Anthem/Blue Cross HQ downtown this Monday even in support of the CaHPSA Lobby Day in Scaramento.

Hope you can make the Single Payer panel I am also organizing for NN.

      •  If we make NN this year, we'll be at your panel. (0+ / 0-)

I have been known to sit on my ass when it comes time to get active for single payer. Yep, on my ass, with a bunch of other folks, doing a sit-in in the main lobby of a big insurance company. I had also volunteered to risk arrest while actively dialyzing on my dialysis machine, but since I got the transplant, that option is not something I can do, thank the Gods. I no longer need dialysis.

The reasons I wound up losing my kidney function in the first place and my insurance company's reaction (telling me I had to wait a year before they'd cover dialysis, which would have been guaranteed fatal) are big reasons why I'm a single payer/Medicare for all activist. So is the fact that I'm on Medicare.

Organ donors save lives! A donor's kidney gave me my life back on 02/18/11; he lives on in me. Please talk with your family about your wish to donate.

Why are war casualty counts "American troops" and "others" but never "human beings"?

They think they vote for the least onerous and still we get watered down, too complicated to use or enjoy BS legislation.
