The best analogy I can give for it is taking one of the demanding 24-hour on call types of jobs that makes immense physical and mental and emotional demands.

I am aware that for many people this particular work isn't their thing. But for me, this is the only way to go. So I can be absolutely dogmatic and prescriptive....FOR ME... and I can testify as to what religion has done in my life.....but I can't tell anyone else what it'll do for them.

I always say that my Goddess is big enough that She can do her own convincing. She doesn't need me to convert anyone. I'm permitted to talk about what I do and how I do it, and why, but that's all.

When you come to find how essential the comfort of a well-kept home is to the bodily strength and good conditions, to a sound mind and spirit, and useful days, you will reverence the good housekeeper as I do above artist or poet, beauty or genius.
