  •  Where is heaven? (1+ / 0-)

My dead departed brother used to teach sunday school, so with a twinkle in my eye, I once asked him where heaven was.

A wry smile crossed his face, and he replied "heaven is where your heart is".

I replied (with a chuckle under my breath) "no, no, don't give me that shit! Where's heaven?  Is it past Uranus?"  (I intentionally pronounced the planet's name "your anus", just to be irritating.)

He replied once again, and with serenity, "heaven is where your heart is."

I think in retrospect that both my question, which is literal, and his answer, which is deeply spiritual, have merit.

Still, it's good to ask if God can disobey the laws of physics (e.g., if he is corporeal, can he travel faster than the speed of light?), and where the heck heaven is.

BTW, the mormons think heaven is an actual planet!

    What is essential is invisible.
