    OS, fix this will you?

Hubby cheerfully adds that currently we have all of 1 degree.  We're heading out in it in a few minutes for a morning of play for me and work for him.

I loved the story of Cathay Williams, JaxDem.  Thank you for sharing it!

I always prefer to believe the best of everybody, it saves so much trouble.

As I sit here shivering so much I cannot hit the keys?  Had to work out of town yesterday, came home tired but so wired I could not sleep.  Overslept this morning.

It may just warm up above freezing today.  It snowed some overnight, but not much.

TEMPS IN THE OS could be rendered, barely better, as TEMPS IN THE Os, or, better than as is, it could be TEMPS IN THE O's.

When the New York Times went to all cap HEDLINES, the caps made for some ugly stuff still seen today.

Best would be to rewrite, SINGLE DIGIT TEMPS, or, TEMPS NEAR ZERO if 'single digit' doesn't fit.

Of course, your daily bugle doesn't have Proofreaders any more, they use spell check for what that's worth. They don't have Copy Editors or Proofreaders any more. They hire kids out of college who make you wonder how they got in to college. And the kids aren't taught anything at work because the owners or editors don't give a hoot.
